Dear family,
       I miss you all. I want you all to know that I love ya'll and will try to write as much as possible. I have some news that I would like to update ya'll on. I have been recently informed about the election of 1864. The democrats elected General McClellan for president. He then faced Lincoln in the election, and won! Lincoln was upset, but he then got re-elected and won. Everything is so confusing right now, but as long as our country is safe and in good hands, that's okay with me-I guess. Honestly I hate that damn Lincoln though. Stupid abolitionists. I have been having so much fun doing my job. I really love it. I miss ya'll so much and wish me luck on the battlefield!
