Ivarine-
I've missed you so much. Sorry I haven't written in a while- been very busy. This war seems to be no where close to ending but happy to say we have won a battle- somewhere near Richmond and D.C. in the wilderness. We were so outnumbered but used the trees to hide ourselves. Lee bought us a win but there were many deaths on both sides. Billy has died along with a lot of some other fellow soliders. The Confederacy has been through many ups and downs this year but wev'e made it through. I know last year Lincoln free'd all those slaves. He doesn't know what he's gotten himself into. Now he's been elected again for god's sake! Good thing we seceded- Lincoln's gonna screw up that nation anyways. 'Heard he thinks he's found himself a new General. The names Ulysses S. Grant. I've heard rumors that the Union may be heading towards Georgia. I guess we'll find out soon enough if he's any good. Hope to see you soon and sending my 'dearest love.
                                                      Sincerely,
